OUR MISSION
HELPING PEOPLE TAKE THEIR NEXT STEPS WITH JESUS... TOGETHER.
Freedom Church in Los Alamos exists to proclaim freedom through Jesus to all people. We believe everyone has a next step to take in their walk with God. One of our values at Freedom Church is accepting all people as they are, discovering their stories, and walking alongside them as we all take our next steps together.

OUR STRATEGIES
Our 3 major areas of focus include:
1. Strong Sunday Worship: We strive to create welcoming and engaging environments for all people to passionately worship God through an uplifting worship experience as well as relevant and practical messages that encourage us to take our next steps of faith.
2. Strong Relationships: We strive to build vibrant communities (Connect Groups) outside of our Sunday mornings that grow together, care for each other, serve each other, and serve the community.
3. Strong Children’s Ministry: The goal at Freedom Kids is for children to experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. They will also have a lot of fun!

OUR HISTORY
SMALL BEGINNINGS
Founded in January 2018 by Pastors Mike and Rita Brake, with a small group of family and friends
Held our first service on January 14th, 2018 at the Betty Erhart Senior Center in Los Alamos, New Mexico. We had 36 adults and children in attendance.
We moved into the Aspen Elementary Gymnasium in May, 2018.
We saw 18 salvations and had 2 baptisms in 2018.
On Christmas Eve, 2018 we held our first ever "Christmas in Los Alamos" under the lights at Ashley Pond and witnessed over 150 people attend and 8 salvations.
Today, we invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simply Jesus and people are free to seek God with passion.
